Job Description:
- Assisting in managing the waste (solid, liquid and other) of company as per set norms.
- Managing the process according to GPCB norms like COD, TSS, BOD, Ph and other Parameters and assist in managing it.
- Monitoring & reporting the air quality in plant and other area according to the norms of GPCB.
- Reporting the environmental issues to Unit Head.
- Handling collection, Neutralization, store, transport & Dispose of all types of waste.
- Assisting in implementation of 5S, Kaizen and manage records.
- Assisting in handling spray dryer and its operation from also to maintain its records.
- Coordinating with maintenance and other departments to effectively function Environment department.
- Coordinating with other departments for waste water, spent acid, solid waste and make sure that production is not affected by effluents and solid waste.
- Managing logistics for waste disposal tike Gypsum, spent acid, high COD water, etc.
- Maintaining record of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Understanding parameter of Wastewater – PH, Acidity, TDS, Hardness, Total Alkalinity, TSS, Oil, Chloride, COD, BOD, DO, Oil & Grease and give insights for Improvements.
- Preparing reports: Daily / Monthly / Yearly environmental reports.
- Reporting of solid / liquid waste generation, stock and disposal.
- Co-coordinating and liaising with consultants and external agencies to furnish and review drafts, reports and other necessary documents to apply for necessary licenses and approvals from various statutory authorities.
- Transferring treated effluent to ETP as per norms and maintaining records.
