Key Responsibilities:
Must-Have:
1. Expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation:
- Possess hands-on experience in both electrical and instrumentation fields, with a solid understanding of their functionalities.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments, including level, pressure, temperature, and flow transmitters.
- Support the design and troubleshooting of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Work with communication protocols such as HART and field bus to ensure smooth data exchange.
- Assist in control panel design (MCC/IMCC, PCC, APFCR) and ensure compliance with standards.
- Conduct installation and calibration of gas analysis and pH/conductivity meters for accurate measurements.
2. Equipment Maintenance & Process Improvement:
- Support monitoring of critical equipment performance and assist in implementing condition monitoring techniques.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and risk assessments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and report opportunities for process and maintenance improvements.
- Assist in the maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems, including boilers, chilling plants, and air compressors, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards (ISO, IMS, QMS).
- Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of all electrical assets.
3. Project Execution & Support:
- Assist in preparing technical documents, including single-line diagrams, earthing schemes, and layout plans.
- Support the preparation of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for cable laying and other electrical works.
- Ensure compliance with IS/IEC norms in electrical system engineering.
- Provide support in detailed engineering processes and selection of new equipment.
4. Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to and promote safety protocols and regulations within the department.
- Assist in implementing safety procedures for electrical and instrumentation work.
- Participate in safety training programs and awareness initiatives.
- Encourage a culture of safety responsibility among team members.

- Support feasibility studies and implementation of Energy Conservation (EC) initiatives.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge and best practices.
